• Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
• Conduct surveillance of healthcare-associated infections and analyze infection data.
• Provide staff education on infection prevention best practices.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding infection prevention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address infection risks and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Iowa (or eligibility to obtain).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or willingness to obtain within a designated timeframe.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Previous experience in infection prevention or healthcare epidemiology is preferred.
