PA Hospitalist OR ARNP (ER) position

  • While on the work rotation, employee will be scheduled for 3-12 hour shifts per week, compensated at the salary rate.  While on the float rotation, the employee will be expected to fill in any open shifts and be available in case of unscheduled absences.  Employee will be compensated at the salary rate for the 4-week float rotation.  If the employee average more than 12 shifts in a float rotation, additional shifts will be compensated separately at the published rate.  Employee will work at least two float rotations in a ten month period.

  • The Administrator of N&R assumes the leadership role on the unit in determining priorities, supervising, guiding, and directing the Director of Nursing, Activity Department, MDS Coordinator, RN’s, LPN’s, CNA’s, OMT’s, Rehab Aides, and Floor Aides in the delivery of care.
  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE  Current Iowa licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator.  May hold an advanced degree but not required.  RN is preferred but not required.
  •  PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Be able to perform duties of a  Nursing Home Administrator ( required). Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills. Possesses leadership abilities. Works well with other nursing and medical staff. Is organized and detail oriented. We expect employees while working to interact with patients, residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors in positive, cooperative, and supportive ways.
