My name is Amy Lane. I work in the Home Health Department at Virginia Gay Hospital. I have been employed at VGH since April 1999. My job includes taking care of clients at home. What I love most about my job is being out in the public and being able to keep clients in their homes. My biggest contribution to the team is that I am reliable. I chose to pursue a career in my field because I was raised with all my aunts, mom, and sister being C.N.A.s. Now my daughter is too.
I have two kids: a 22-year old daughter and 20-year old son. I have 1 grandbaby, Hadlee. One thing I can’t live without is my family. My favorite vacation spot is the beach in Florida. My favorite food is German chocolate cake. My favorite childhood memory is camping in Grinnel with my family. If someone were to describe me in three words, they would be fun, lovable, and helpful.
