Biographical Info

BIO: Tammy graduated from the university of Iowa PA program.  She initially practiced in the Department of Urology at UIHC but also worked in a rural ER on weekends.  She then worked for 5 years in the UIHC ER before coming to VGH.  “I have enjoyed the transition to a rural setting from a very busy Level I trauma center. It allows me to spend more time with the patients and care for multiple family members. I like getting to know the people of the community.  Tammy is married with three children.  I am a recreational runner and have run in a couple of marathons.”
