Vinton Family Medical Clinic Receives No Deficiency Survey Following State Recertification

Vinton Family Medical Clinic, part of Virginia Gay Hospital, has received a No Deficiency Survey following a recent recertification survey conducted by the State Agency.

The State Agency determined the Rural Health Clinic (RHC) was operating in substantial compliance with all Rural Health Clinic Conditions for Coverage, including requirements related to Emergency Preparedness. The survey process evaluates clinic operations to ensure compliance with federal standards designed to support safe, high-quality healthcare services in rural communities.

Receiving a survey with no deficiencies demonstrates the clinic’s commitment to maintaining rigorous healthcare standards while delivering patient-centered care to the community.

“We are incredibly proud of the Vinton Family Medical Clinic team,” said Tammy Hicok, Director of Clinics of Virginia Gay Hospital. “A no deficiency survey reflects the hard work, professionalism, and dedication our staff bring to their roles every day. Their commitment ensures patients and families in our community receive high-quality, compassionate care close to home.”

As part of Virginia Gay Hospital’s network of services, Vinton Family Medical Clinic remains focused on improving access to healthcare while meeting the highest standards for patient safety and quality.
