Virginia Gay Hospital Earns Prestigious 5-Star Rating for Patient Recommendations
Virginia Gay Hospital (VGH) has been nationally recognized for its outstanding quality of care by Becker’s Hospital Review, a leading publication in the healthcare industry. This distinction is based on publicly reported measures from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
CMS evaluates hospitals across the country using a 1-5 STAR rating system, offering consumers a straightforward way to assess healthcare facilities based on various quality metrics. VGH has achieved the highest 5-star rating, underscoring its commitment to exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
The recognition stems from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey. This survey measures patient experience and includes the critical question, “Would you recommend this hospital to your friends and family?” VGH’s outstanding performance reflects the trust and satisfaction of its patients.
“We are incredibly proud of this achievement,” said Tina Eden. “This 5-star rating is a testament to the dedication of our team and their commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our community.”
Virginia Gay Hospital’s recognition is a reminder of its ongoing mission to provide “Quality Care Close to Home” and enhance the health and well-being of those it serves.
